Timing Your Scalp Care With an Irregular Wash Schedule

Care Based on State, Not the Calendar

Not everyone washes their hair on a strict schedule. Depending on your workouts, weather, or daily schedule, the days you wash your hair might constantly change. The good news is that botanical scalp care does not require a rigid weekly calendar. You simply need to evaluate the physical state of your scalp on any given day.

The "Clean and Dry" Rule for No02

The No02 Flourishing Elixir has one specific requirement: it must be applied to a clean, dry scalp directly after washing. It does not matter if you wash your hair every two days or every five days. Whenever your wash day happens to fall, simply dry your hair completely, part it, and apply a small amount of No02 with your fingertips. If you haven't just washed and dried your hair, keep the No02 Elixir on the shelf.

The "Dry Scalp" Anchor for No01

The No01 Anchoring Mist is your flexible, everyday tool. It is an aqua and ethanol-based mist designed to be used on a dry scalp. You can use it in the morning or during the day when your hair is dry, making it ideal for the unpredictable days between your washes.
Note: The No01 Mist is not a cleanser. If your scalp is dirty or heavily sweating after a workout, cleanse when needed rather than trying to mask buildup with a mist; wait until the scalp is dry before using No01.

Creating a Flexible Routine

If you own the CYN-SILK No01 & No02 Scalp Ritual Duo, you don't need a calendar to tell you what to do. Simply ask yourself: "Did I just wash and dry my hair?" If yes, reach for No02. If no, and your scalp is dry, you can use No01 as your daily botanical touchpoint.
